 Zoller Hardware, Inc. is located, one block north of US Highway 64, on State Highway 107 in Cashiers, North Carolina. Highway 107 is the major North-South Highway in this community. The property is a 1 acre partial of the Cashiers Commons Development (shopping village) known as lots 1,2 and 3. The property includes Highway 107 frontage. The building is 9000 sq.ft. housing a 7000 sq. ft. retail hardware store and a 2000 sq. ft. warehouse. The store also has two lofts with offices and storage areas. There is a large stone fireplace as a center focal point of the store. In June of 1997, 500 sq. ft. of our porch was enclosed to house more sales area, 800 sq. ft. of open front porch remains. In the summer of 2008, we added an additional 500 sq ft. of covered deck to display patio, porch, and Amish furniture.
Zoller Hardware opened on September, 26, 1994 as a proprietorship. On October 1, 1996 Zoller Hardware incorporated and became a Sub-S Corporation know as Zoller Hardware, Inc., dba, Zoller Hardware, Gifts & Gadgets Mercantile.
We are a stockholder/member of Do it Best, Corp., a member owned, wholesale buying group. This allows our pricing to be competitive, it eliminates the need for our customers to travel to larger towns for lower prices. This store is built to the specifications of the development and is an anchor store for this shopping area.
The store has a tradition of being sparkling clean, attractive and well stocked. This along with our full-service family atmosphere make shopping with us a pleasure. We carry such a complete line of merchandise that the comment, "I can always find what I need here" could be our motto.
One of the things customers love about Zoller's is the large housewares and gift departments. This makes our store as attractive to women as it is to men. This store with its front porch, country charm and warmth beckons travelers as well as residents. It is a well stocked hardware that supplies the hardiest of handymen, while enticing women to browse and shop with us too.
Zoller Hardware, Inc. caters to the homeowner for hardware and gift sales, but also supplies a number of plumbing contractors, electricians, home builders, mechanics, and lawn and garden contractors. Store charge accounts are welcome and we maintain around 300 active revolving charge accounts.
Jim and Paula Zoller work this store as a "Mom & Pop" operation in order to keep the overhead in line as well as insure the friendly accommodating atmosphere that is a must for a successful hardware store business.
The Zollers have over 50 years of hardware family experience.
On March 1, 1997, Brent Eason joined our team as Assistant Manager. Brent comes to our organization from employment at Home Quarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. His family resides in Paris, KY. His knowledge of hardware and his helpful attitude have generated customer satisfaction and loyalty. He has since been promoted to General Manager of the business. |
