 James D.(Jim) Zoller

Jim Zoller was born in Bradenton, Florida. He attended primary schools there and graduated from Manatee High School in 1963. He is an Eagle Scout and Past Master Councilor of Demolay.
Jim continued his education at Auburn University and graduated in 1970 with a B.S. in Industrial Design. He is a Member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. While at Auburn he was a member of the Army ROTC, Scabbard & Blade Honorary Society. He was Honorably Discharged from the U.S. Army and Army Reserve after attaining the rank of Captain in 1976. Jim and his family resided for 24 years in Winter Haven, Florida. In May of 1994 he moved to Cashiers, North Carolina with his wife, Paula, to open Zoller Hardware Gifts & Gadgets,(Inc.).
Mr. Zoller started his retail hardware career in 1970 in Winter Haven, Fl. and was vice-president & manager of a Retail Hardware Store there for 16 years. For two years beginning in 1986, he was merchandising, advertising and marketing director for a Lumber Company chain headquartered in Orlando, FL. The next six years he was a territory manager (sales) for two large hardware wholesale companies with many retail hardware store accounts throughout central Florida.
While in Winter Haven, Mr. Zoller was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Winter Haven, is a Past President and Director of Garden Grove Communities, Inc., is a Past President of the SE Plaza Merchants Association, and was on the Admisistrative Boards of St. Johns and Lake Wales United Methodist Churches.
In Cashiers, NC. Jim is a Past President of The Rotary Club of Cashiers Valley and is a Paul Harris Fellow (2) of the Rotary Foundation. He is a Past President of the Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce, is a former Director of the Holly Forest Association, is a member of the Lake Toxaway United Methodist Church and served on the Administrative Council and has served as Chairman of the Pastor-Parrish Relations Committee, is the past President of the Friends of Lake Glenville, is a Director of the Cashiers Community Council and is a Director of the Southwestern Community College Foundation. Jim and his wife Paula are past members of the Country Club of Sapphire Valley.
Mr. Zoller and his wife, Paula, have a son, Jayson, who graduated from Central Florida University and continued on to attain two Master Degrees from Purdue University. He is employeed by Proctor and Gamble and resides with his wife Heather and daughter Zoe Morai (born 3/20/03) and son Jameson Devin (born 4/30/06) in Cincinnati, Ohio. A daughter, Kelly (Zoller) Seagreaves, graduated from the American University in Atlanta with Honors and received her Masters Degree from Purdue University. She is retired from Intel Corp.(Portland, OR) and resides with her husband Rich and 2 sons Zachary Allan (Zach born 2/26/02) and Joshua James (Josh born 10/1/04) in Bradenton, FL.
